I'm glad you have the self confidence to prematurely congratulate yourself for a "safe money" conclusion.

Since I work for a markets firm subcontracted by EA to work on sales figures and target models, I could make the statement that I've seen the Michael Crabtree cover. If I wanted seemingly narrow my statement I could tell you that the initial cover is a shot of Crabtree turning up field after the his catch against Texas.

Does that bring any credibility that something about the game has slipped out, NO. If Crabtree is on one of the covers does it then retro validate my statement as well as yours, NO. If Crabtree is on the cover and he's turning up field just after the Texas catch, does it now validate any statements, NO.

So what were left with is a picture proving my claims.

As far as your arguments about slips and leaks, I believe the argument was that the Utopian guys would not provide the leaks. As a whole NDAs are worthless, with one exception, if you have something other then money to lose. NDAs will not recoup the loses your company would see if the competitor found out in advance what you were doing, it also can't refund you the money that you paid professionals to market your product when all you need to do is let someone blab away for free, I could go on, so hopefully you get my point. What NDAs do is allow the company to have documentation so when you're not allowed back on community days, part of the red phone to the dev or are the idiot intern being walked out the front door 35 minutes after you posted a picture of you with the game in the background, there's no way in hell you can claim any wrong doing by the company.

Thanks for the insight into NDAs. I'm sure I will find many a useful thing to do with the information. Everyone on these boards is taking this whole freaking cr*p way too seriously. there's a Gamestop 5 minutes from my house... since CAS is freaking huge for me I just drove over there.....

the mock NCAA covers at my store have a shadow player o the front ......
and a shadow player on the back.....

there is no info about the game or features on these boxes


maybe some other stores have different boxes on display?????

There is less than a 5% chance that any information that gamestop has on the back of any box of promotional NCAA football cover sleeves is based on anything legitimate. That doesn't mean that it won't be in the game, but it just means that I wouldn't trust gamestop as a source on this. Even if there is information on the back of the box (which I tend to doubt), it is likely that some gamestop employee, who has no connection with EA and no more inside knowledge about the game than anybody on these boards, simply put it there themselves based on what they thought was going to be in the game.

If it's true, Create a School needs to be completely revamped. You should be able to set your statistics for your team, adjust players' stats, fine tune uniforms, etc.

I do believe you though, for the record. Also, what IS the address of this GameStop? If it's near me, I may be able to swing by and further verify this.
